Oi Asian Fusion originated in the LA area before this spot debuted several years ago in the Mercado del Barrio of the Barrio Logan neighborhood. The market complex was located just south of the I-5 Freeway in the shadows of the on-ramp to the Coronado Bridge. There was plenty of parking in the common lot for all of the businesses. The inside of the suite had a dark modern look with high top table seating. There were also outdoor chairs on a patio adjacent to the front entrance. We came for lunch and ordered several items, one of which was the Dynamite Sweet Fries that was free with the purchase of a bowl. Our other picks were the Karaage Fried Chicken, Loco Burger Bowl, and the Dynamite Crawfish Bowl. The sweet potato fries were topped with dynamite sauce, garlic confit, and cilantro. There were five pieces of fried chicken that came with garlic dipping sauce. My friend's burger bowl featured a wagyu beef patty topped with umami gravy, fried egg, seaweed, scallions, and rice. My crawfish bowl contained butter poached tail meat, dynamite sauce, seaweed, scallions, sesame seed, and rice. For the Dynamite Crawfish Bowl, I was glad that I didn't have to pick apart the shells to get to the crawfish meat as the kitchen did the dirty work. The sauce was mildly spicy and creamy. It worked better with the bowl as opposed to how it was drizzled on top of the sweet fries. The karaage had a good exterior crunch while the garlic flavor was prominent in the dip. The fusion choices at this place were clever and well executed. I thought the prices were quite reasonable for what was offered on the menu. Overall, I rated our dining experince at Oi Asian Fusion with 4.5 stars.

Loved both the adobo and the crawfish bowls. Favorite was the adobo! Fries were crispy and tasty as well. Would eat here again.

I ordered the pork adobo bowl and OMG. I ordered via DoorDash and wanted to leave a review but couldn't. That adobo was so incredible that I felt obligated to find it on Yelp so I can give it the best review I possibly can. I think that's the best pork adobo I've ever had. I understand that's a very bold claim. And I usually prefer classical adobo. But I appreciated that it was a fried pork belly and then the sauce is added after. Versus a classic adobo where the pork is simmered in the sauce. I'm definitely coming back here!

I'm still obsessed with this place! If anything, it has gotten even better. It's not very many places that have such great consistency over time. Definitely don't miss the mushroom and egg bowl over garlic rice and the ube upside down dessert!

This is my daughter's fav! She is picky but she will always have an appetite for her Chicken Karage Bao. Personally I prefer their rice bowls, Ribeeye is legit. We catered here for my daughter's bday and theey hooked it up. Lots and lots of food and elite service. Just typing this up is making me hungry.

Seriously the crunchiest karaage in San Diego. I come here during lunchtime and I get my food to go. The SECRET is, yo gotta take the top off to make sure the chicken does not get soggy. You can also opt out for the sauce they put on top for more CRUNCH. They are friendly and fast! Plenty of seats, nice drawings on the board. Never had a parking issue. Therefore, I like this place.

Came here after an event with a friend but I only ordered their Ube Dessert. Parking wasn't bad- I was surprised it wasn't as packed as expected. The dessert was pretty good, not overly sweet but had a good cream cheese and ube flavor. It was way smaller than expected though. Still yummy overall!

Stopped in during lunch and found an absolutely amazing take on Filipino food! The restaurant was clean and the staff were helpful during ordering to offer their favorite dishes. Would love to see a Better menu display but the food was great! Chicken longanisa?! Whew! Very tasty!
